Why are men most successfull in every field on earth?

The efforts to downplay the potential of women has been prevailing since time immortal. It is there in the bible, (which was undoubtably written by a man) where the woman is blamed for all the troubles on earth. It is a fact that in almost every field the most succesfull names are that of men. Has anyone tried to figure out why? The answer is simple. Women just let men be!

From the time of birth, it is instilled in boys that to do anything like girls is something beneath them. Boys are supposed to be good in maths and sciences and girls in languages, arts and humanities. Here there is an implied meaning that, on an average girls are less intelligent than boys. What we dont remember is that, it was men who set standards, that to be intelligent, you have to do math and science. Anyone good at humanities and arts is not considered intelligent. I dont understand why their brilliance is not appreciated. I even doubt the fact the girls are'nt as good as boys in science and math. Most girls I know are good at math and science and history and geography and english. On an average it is a fact that girls do well in school, but when it comes to competetive exams, boys do better. I can explain that. It is through competitive exams that entance into professional career paths are gained. Boys are bound to be the primary bread winners in their future and they are under a lot more pressure than girls, to do well in these exams, and hence, on an average, put in a lot more effort than girls.

Now when it comes to careers, women , irrespective of race, country or religion bear the primary responsibility to do the housework and raise children. Career can only come second to family in every woman's life, while that is not the case for men. they have their entire time dedicated to their careers and hence are more successfull. I am not trying to say that women should abandon their families and resort to successfull careers, because the world would come to a crisis scenario then, but I would like everyone to remember, before comparing that a woman has her limitations.

Boy or Girl?

A woman is an extension of God. It is through her that God begins a new life. Nevertheless, it is a fact that in my country(India), a significant number of people give undue preference for a male child. There are exceptions, especially in matriarchal societies of South India and among the educated and good at heart people. A girl child is equally welcomed in these groups, and fortunately a large percentage of people today, fall into these groups.
There has been a lot of unfair practices against women especially in North India. In olden times. people had the heart to kill newborn baby girls. A widow was supposed to burn alive(let alone remarry) in the funeral pyre of her husband(Sati). Sati was brought to an end through the efforts of Raja Ram Mohan Roy in 1831.
180 years after Sati, it is a sad fact that, the mindset of several people is still to change. Today female infanticide is unheard of, but with the advancement of technology, it is possible(and happenning) to determine the sex of the child before birth and to kill the foetus. The recent surveys show a decrease in the ratio of females to males. There are very strict rules against these practises. It is illegal to reveal the sex of a baby before birth in India, but I am ashamed that such a rule is required in a country like India in the 21st century. Even today it is all smiles when the birth of a boy is announced and sighs for a baby girl. I have personally heard several people sympathize on the fact that my parents have two girls! The most disgraceful part of the whole affair is that women equally play a part and played a part in female infanticide and foeticide!
